David Gambino

The mission of the East Ascension Athletic Training Program is to provide the highest level of healthcare in coordination with the best practice standards for all student athletes throughout their time at East Ascension High School. Our program provides all student athletes with thorough injury evaluations, detailed therapeutic rehabilitation programs, skilled methods of injury prevention, along with health and wellness education.

Spartan Cheer is thrilled to lead our fans in cheering on our football and basketball teams!

EAST ASCENSION HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS

The EA Spartanettes perform at all football games, pep rallies, the Gonzales Christmas Parade, basketball games, state and national competitions. Tryouts for the dance team are held every Spring.

EAST ASCENSION SPARTANETTES

The East Ascension High School Theatre Department works year-round to produce quality entertainment. Students in Theatre I perform in a class-selected one-act play while students in the Advanced Production class stage, costume, and publicize a full-length play.

Anyone is welcome to join our Theatre I classes. Entry into Theatre 2, 3, 4, and Advanced Production are restricted to those with instructor permission.

There is a $20 fee per course.

The Yell Leaders consist of Seniors who donate their time, energy, and creativity to keep the traditions of East Ascension High School alive.  They are in charge of pep rallies and the Too Much Blue Crew student section at games of all sports.  They coordinate with our band, cheerleaders, and Spartanettes to teach the underclassmen what it really means to be a Spartan.  In 2019, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association named EA the "Best Student Section" in the state.
