Sharonda Morris is the Student Services Secretary at East Ascension High School. Now in her second year with the school, Sharonda is a proud EA alumna dedicated to supporting current students and families.
Kimberley Chauvin is in her third year at East Ascension High School, where she serves as a school counselor in the Freshman Academy. Before joining EA, Kimberley spent more than 10 years as a math teacher. Her experience in the classroom inspired her to transition into school counseling so she could continue supporting students in a different way.
Kimberley earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Counseling from Nicholls State University. She is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Kimberley especially enjoys working with ninth-grade students and helping them navigate the transition from middle school to high school. She recognizes that the jump to high school can feel overwhelming and stressful, and she enjoys being a supportive person students can turn to as they adjust to their new environment, build confidence, and find their place at EA.

Marqita Thompson - 11th Grade/Cohort 2028
Marqita Thompson serves as the current 11th grade/2028 school counselor. Originally from Detroit, MI she earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and her master's degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Before joining the EA family, Marqita worked as an elementary school counselor in Las Vegas, NV for 6 years. She is passionate about supporting students socially, emotionally, and academically while helping them to prepare for life after high school.
Bailee Foncree - 12 Grade/Cohort 2027
Born and raised in Ascension Parish, Mrs. Foncree has deep roots in the EAHS community and a lifelong connection to the traditions and spirit of the Spartans. A proud Spartan alumna, she returned to her alma mater in 2021 after graduating from Northwestern State University of Louisiana with bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Addiction Studies.
Mrs. Foncree began her career at EAHS as a teacher and Spartanettes Coach. After earning her master’s degree in School Counseling in 2025, she transitioned into the role of School Counselor for the Spartans.
Mrs. Foncree is honored to continue serving the school and community that have been such an important part of her life.
Bailey Castillion is in her second year as a school counselor at East Ascension High School and her fourth year of school counseling overall. Originally from Indiana, Bailey developed a connection to Ascension Parish while visiting family and friends in the East Ascension community.
Bailey earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ball State University. She earned her master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from Butler University. She is a National Certified Counselor.
Bailey serves as the school’s Student Assessment Counselor, overseeing student testing and assessment programs. She also coordinates BLP, APPLe, and interventionist services to help provide students with the support and resources they need to succeed. Bailey also serves as a coach for the East Ascension High School cheerleading team. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with students and creating a supportive environment where every student feels valued, encouraged, and prepared for their future.
Mrs. Missie Delaune has been at EAHS for 27 years. She was a prominent member of the Science Department prior to her role as Registrar. She is also an EAHS alum.
Ms. Monica Caillouet has been at EAHS for 29 years. She is responsible for the CTE Internship program and acts as Assistant Registrar. Ms. Caillouet is an EAHS alum.
Ms. Lacey Barbera has been in education for 27 years; 25 of which as a Spartan. She began her career here by teaching FACS, which she did for 13 years. She is now the graduation coach, and has been for the past 14 years.
